Parish Council

The Parish Council consists of nine elected parishioners and several others who serve because of their positions within the parish. The Council is an “umbrella” that serves as an advisory body to the pastor on matters of general concern to the parish.  Nominations are open to all members of the parish and voting is done by written ballots found in the pews at the Masses on the third weekend in May.

Members serve a three year term and, if willing, serve a second three year term.  An effort is made to encourage a culturally diverse council representing the West Hartford and Bloomfield areas. Elected members serve either as officers and/or chairs or liaisons to committees. Only elected members can vote on motions.
