Parish Social Life Committee

The Parish Social Life Committee develops and promotes, in cooperation with other organizations in the parish, ways to bring the parish together as a community through various activities, program and functions.

The first Sunday of each month from October through May is Hospitality Sunday. A reception with coffee, juice, and donuts is held in O’Connell Hall after the 8:30 am and 10:30 am Masses.

All are welcome to share the abundance and meet with parishioners and guests. Name tags are available and encouraged to be used.

Individuals, groups, or neighborhoods are encouraged to volunteer for specific months or Masses to help with set-up, serving or clean-up. It is a great way to meet people and help without having to make an on-going commitment.

Spaghetti Dinners and other social events are always well-attended and fun. Families, singles, religious and laity all enjoy great conversation and food. Watch the Bulletin and Calendar of Events for dates.

In order to continue the wonderful dinners, celebrations and sharing events, we need many more to become involved in these and other areas of parish life.

The Chair of the Parish Social Life Committee is Parish Council member Paul Travers. If you have any questions or would like to join in the planning or support a function, contact Paul Travers at 860-523-0042, or email Paul at paul-travers@sbcglobal.net
