Holy Orders

One of the two Sacraments of Service, “Holy Orders is the sacrament through which the mission entrusted by Christ to his apostles continues to be exercised in the Church until the end of time.” (CCC 1536)  Deacons, priests and bishops receive this sacrament.  Those who are ordained and “consecrated in Christ’s name ‘to feed the church by the word and grace of God.'” (CCC 1535)

Priesthood Discernment Evenings

The Vocation Office holds monthly Priesthood Discernment Evenings at St. Thomas Seminary (467 Bloomfield Ave, Bloomfield CT) for men between the age of 18 and 55 who would like to get information about the Catholic Priesthood and meet with other men who feel God might be calling them to serve as a priest.
